Can you imagine 1000 people dying everyday in one country right now from preventable causes? I lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 7 months last year, and it is a country that is in dire need of global attention. We have people suffering on our continent due to hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Across the ocean, our couragous Congolese brothers and sisters are living out their own daily tragedies. I want to share with you an online article from a doctor I met in Kinshasa last spring. His thoughts and observations are insightful. Most importantly, I hope you hear his heart, and perhaps a bit of God's global heart too.
